THREE (3) MARKET SEGMENT FOR SOLAR SOLUTIONS

C3 has partnered with a leading global Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company to provide solar power solutions designed with leading solar technologies, to procure solar equipment at best available costs and to construct the C3 SPS to global standards. In the three (3) targeted solar market segments which are as follows.

Photovoltaic systems are generally categorized into three distinct market segments: ground-mount utility-scale systems, commercial rooftop, and residential rooftop systems. Their capacities range from a few kilowatts to hundreds of megawatts. A typical residential system is around 10 kilowatts and mounted on a sloped roof, while individual commercial systems may reach a megawatt-scale and are generally installed on low-slope or even flat roofs.

* SOLAR FARM
A solar farm is a large-scale grid connected photovoltaic system designed for the supply of power on a merchant scale. They supply power at the utility level, rather than to a local user. The Power Purchase Agreement is made with the utility provider. With very large users such as sugar cane production a solar farm can be constructed for their use only.
Utility-scale systems are ground-mounted, with fixed tilted solar panels. Large utility-scale solar parks are capable of providing an energy supply to large numbers of consumers. Electricity is generated by the photovoltaics and is fed into the transmission grid powered by central generation plants, or combined with domestic electricity generators to feed into a small electrical grid (hybrid plant). PV systems are generally designed in order to ensure the highest energy yield for a given investment. Solar farms can cover from tens to hundreds of hectares and have power outputs up to hundreds of megawatts.
C3 will arrange for EPC services to engineer, procure and construct solar farms at prices that are very competitive for the current most state-of-the-technology commercially available equipment. Typically, from start of construction to power generation on a 75 Mw solar farm will be about 18 months or less.

* LARGE INDUSTRIAL / COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES
The C3 SPS for Large Industrial / Commercial Complexes supplies the needs for users of a specific site. The generated electricity does not connect to the local or national grid. Used in Industrial Complexes and Commercial Centers (malls), solar panels can be mounted on roof tops and/or used as car parking covers. Typically, these solar installations can be for as much as 10 – 15 Mw of power (or more or less) but are also specifically designed for the needs of the built environment. If there is a need for 24-hour power the design can include the use of batteries.
The Power Purchase Agreement is made with the individual industries, at a rate discounted from what the utility charges to provide continuity.
C3 will arrange for EPC services to engineer, procure and construct solar farms at prices that are very competitive for the most state-of-the-technology equipment. A part of the C3 strategy is to source submarket financing.

* LIGHT INDUSTRIAL / COMMERCIAL / RESIDENTIAL
Small industrial complexes, small corner-type shopping centers, multi-family residential structures or complexes, and single-family structures. These installations can go from a few kilowatts to several megawatts and like the larger scale, panels can be roof-mounted or used as car-parking overhead structures. The Power Purchase Agreement can be made with individual owners, associations, or management companies.

C3 can arrange for existing partner distribution channels to provide solar installation services throughout Central America. C3 can provide financing, and supply chain dynamics.
A market could also exist for very small homes on a mass scale, structuring each premanufactured home with an acceptable financing structure, energy source, and furniture to help alleviate the shortfall of available housing in any given region.

C3 FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS FOR WASTE TO ENERGY & SOLAR PROJECTS

C3 provides total waste to energy & solar projects solutions by bundling the C3 energy or solar projects with any needed necessary finance for project execution. C3 Finance is able to source appropriate financing from various types of funding sources.

Environmental Social Governance Funds. By using C3 ESG expertise, Ce WTE and Solar projects qualify for the requirements of Environmental Social Governance “ESG “funding. C3 Waste to Energy and Solar Projects are able to access “Green” funds designated by their fund managers as reserved for ESG qualified projects and often at favorable interest rates. ESG investing is a form of sustainable investing that considers environmental, social and governance factors to judge an investment’s financial returns and its overall impact. An investment’s ESG score measures the sustainability of an investment in those specific categories. According to the US SIF Foundation’s 2022 Sustainable Investing Overview, U.S. there are $8.4 trillion dollars in sustainable investing assets.

Development Bank Funding & Commercial Funding. C3 thorough its innovative trade finance solutions is able to structure supplier financing and project buyer financing through C3 existing Development Bank relations to provide a significant portion of the needed project financing. For Central America, C3 focuses on the Asian Development Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank for traditional Development Bank funding along with ESG funding. The Development Bank Funding is in addition to normal commercial bank funding, which is also available through C3 Finance, but of course the commercial costs of funds is greater than the interest charged by the Development Banks.

Equity Funding. The final type of funding and also perhaps the hardest to source is equity funding. C3is also able to source equity funding for its WTE and Solar project. C3 has the expertise to establish the Special Purposes Vehicle (SPV) to meet investor expectations for the equity financing necessary in any WTE or Solar project AND perhaps even more importantly source equity investors into that SPV.

Taken as a whole, C3 Finance through its expertise is able to source ESG funds, Development Bank funds, Commercial Funds and Equity funds to bundle with its WTE and Solar Projects for truly end-to-end turn key projects.
